Walt Disney Pictures and 2DUX have teamed up to make a new Winnie the Pooh movie, but this time it's about a grown-up Christopher Robin, played by Ewan McGregor, who has to leave the gang from Hundred Acre Woods to go to boarding school. The movie is directed by Marc Foster, who has directed movies such as World War Z, Finding Neverland, and Stranger than Fiction just to name a few. Most people would walk into the theater thinking Christopher Robin is going to be a childish movie, the movie might have childish aspects but that's it. It shows a man who struggles to manage both time with his family and his job.

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger have only been voiced by Jim Cummings, this movie is no different as he returns to voice the two loveable characters. The movie also includes Hayley Atwell, as Evelyn Robin, you may know Atwell from movies like Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The movie allows the audience to travel back to their past. Most young adults probably watched at least a little bit of Winnie the Pooh while they were a kid, and I think the goal of this movie is to take the viewer out of the struggles of life, as Christopher Robin at the beginning of the movie. Which is why I completely respect the movie for what it tries to do. Especially in all the drama currently in the U.S., it's good to just go, chill out, watch a movie with some other people you’ll probably never see again, and just watch the loveable characters come to life. If I were you I’d give it a watch once it comes to DVD and digital video, which hasn’t been given a specific release date. The movie has also been nominated for “The Family Movie of 2018” in the People's Choice Awards.
