Important End of the Year Dates

Summer is just around the corner! The 2018-19 school is quickly coming to a close, and there are a few important dates to put on your calendars.


May 4: Prom

Prom will be held at the Shrine Center in Grove City. Dinner will begin at 7:00pm, and the dance will begin at 8:00pm. The theme is “Glitter and Gold.” After-Prom will be held at the Prairie Township Community Center. Plan to arrive by midnight.


May 6: AP Government and Politics Exam

The exam will be held at the Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, walking distance from the High School. Plan to arrive by 7:30, the exam will begin at 8am.


May 8: AP English Literature and Composition Exam

The exam will be held at the Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, walking distance from the High School. Plan to arrive by 7:30, the exam will begin at 8am.


May 9: AP Chemistry Exam

The exam will be held at the Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, walking distance from the High School. Plan to arrive by 7:30, the exam will begin at 8am.


May 14: AP Calculus AB Exam

The exam will be held at the Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, walking distance from the High School. Plan to arrive by 7:30, the exam will begin at 8am.


May 15: AP English Language and Composition Exam

The exam will be held at the Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, walking distance from the High School. Plan to arrive by 7:30, the exam will begin at 8am.


May 16: AP Probability and Statistics Exam

The exam will be held at the Hurt Battelle Memorial Library, walking distance from the school. Plan to arrive by 10:00am, as the exam begins at 10:30am. Students taking this exam will eat lunch at school prior to the test time.


May 17: Seniors’ Last Day


May 20-22: Senior Exams


May 23: Senior Breakfast, Graduation Practice, Senior Clap-Out


May 24: Senior Awards Assembly, Senior Luncheon


May 25: Graduation

Graduation will be held at West Jefferson High School, beginning at 11:00am. Seniors should arrive by 10:15am.


May 27: Memorial Day - No School


May 28-30: Final Exams


May 30: Last Day for Students (Early Release)
