On October 30th from 2:45 to 8:00 p.m. West Jefferson Middle and High schools will be hosting a used book sale that is open to the public. This fundraiser is being held to raise money to be donated to Children's Hospital. The first 10 guests to purchase a book will be given a handmade tote bag crafted by Mrs. Kearns herself.

Not only that but also a local Columbus food truck, Tortilla, will be making an appearance. This fundraiser promises to host a fun night of shopping and a slew of interesting and unique books offered for purchase.

This is not the only interesting fundraiser to be coming to West Jefferson, but all during the week of October 7th through October 11th, the library will be hosting a booth in the cafeteria during Rider Hour. This booth allows students to purchase compliments for their friends, fellow students, and even faculty members. There will be pre-made compliments available for you to choose from or students are free to think of their own.

While these fundraisers may come to an end, it’s a guarantee that many more will come this year and years beyond. These fundraisers help to not only improve the quality of our school but the atmosphere as well, so it’s important to make sure you participate and spread the word for the betterment of our school.
