Top Ten Celebrity Slips of 2018

2018 was full of drama, scandals, and best of all, loads of celebrity splits. From the ending of short flings to the divorces after long term marriages, it seems like love definitely wasn’t in the air this year. Of all the juicy breakups, here’s a list of the top ten celeb splits of 2018:

#10. Millie Bobby Brown and Jacob Sartorius Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown and Vine star Jacob Sartorius announced their split in late July. The young couple dated for seven months, gaining major support from their fans on Twitter and Instagram. The decision to split was mutual, and the teens have remained friends.

#9. Amber Rose and 21 Savage Model Amber Rose and rapper 21 Savage began dating last summer, but announced their split this year. Cheating allegation have been thrown from both sides, but the breakup is said to have been mutual. Amber Rose has hinted at possible feelings for the rapper, but for now the couple is not projected to reunite anytime soon.

#8. Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Grace Moretz Instagram heartthrob Brooklyn Beckham and successful actress Chloe Grace Moretz began their on-again, off-again relationship in 2014. Earlier this year, Beckham was seen kissing model Lexi Wood, before the couple officially announced their split. After the image surfaced, Moretz’ social media posts hinted at Beckham’s disloyalty. Beckham has received quite a bit of backlash from fans of Moretz, but the the two seem to be handling the breakup well.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux After less than three years of marriage, and over seven years together, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux officially announced their separation early this year. The couple has stated the decision was mutual, and they will do their best to maintain a healthy friendship.

#6. Logic and Jessica Andrea Rapper Logic and wife of two years, Jessica Andrea, announced their split in March of this year. The split is rumored to have been triggered by a prenuptial agreement. The divorce was finalized in September.

#5. Sam Smith and Brandon Flynn The singer and the actor began their relationship in 2017, and dated for nine months until their split this June. They seemed to have really fallen for each other, but they have stated that they were both so busy with their careers and things ultimately weren’t working out. They both seem to be taking the breakup relatively well.

#4. Ariana Grande and Mac Miller In August 2016, the pair made their relationship official. They went on to date, happily, or so it seemed, until May of this year. Lots of drama came with this split, as people were blaming Ariana for Mac’s antics, such as getting a DUI and committing a hit-and-run. This died down as Grande began to date Pete Davidson, but the drama fueled up again when Mac passed away this September, as people blamed Grande for his death.

#3. G-Eazy and Halsey In September of 2017, Halsey and G-Eazy confirmed their relationship, although there was speculation for many months before. The couple seemed head-over-heels for each other, but this July, Halsey announced that the couple had decided to split and take some time for themselves. In the months to follow, the couple was always on-and-off again. Their final split, for now, came in October. The couple hasn’t been seen together since.

#2. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Channing and Jenna got married in 2009, and had a daughter in the spring of 2013. After nine years of marriage, this April, the couple announced that they were going their separate ways. This split was one that no one really saw coming, as they were the embodiment of “couple goals”, or so everyone thought. The stated that they still love each other very much and they will continue to be dedicated to raising their daughter.

#1. Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson The couple officially started dating in May, after both coming out of a long-term relationship. The pair got engaged soon after in June. They called off the engagement and split in October, after five months of dating. Ariana and Pete’s relationship was constantly in the headlines and eyes were on them at all times, meaning their split made waves all over social media and the internet, landing them the number one spot on this list.
