1. Endless Love
A summer full of love and new beginnings is something all girls have wished for. In the 2014 movie, Endless Love, Jade Butterfield lived that dream with a boy she never imagined herself with. Jade is a privileged and sheltered teen, while David is a working-class teen with a troubled past. After the two quickly fall in love, college and concerned parents begin to come between them. Endless Love is a story full of love and drama that we all wish we could experience.
2. The Notebook
As we grow old, our memory becomes faint. In this 2004 movie, Allie is a resident in a nursing home, who has a visitor everyday who reads her a story too good to be real. The story being read is about Allies one and only love as a teenager. The man reading to her is Noah, the boy she was in love with. He reads to her about their memories, their love, and all the obstacles they had to overcome. The Notebook is a story that has you smiling one moment, and in tears the next.
3. 10 Things I Hate About You
Kat is a beautiful and smart teenage girl who doesn't attract many guys due to her hard personality. But, when her younger sister can't go to parties until her sister goes on a date, strings are pulled to set Kat up with a charming boy named Patrick. 10 Things I Hate About You is known for its famous final scene where Kat explains how she feels towards Patrick in front of the entire class, through an assigned poem.
4. A Walk to Remember
Landon Carter is your typical bad-boy teenager who was threatened expulsion if he didn't complete community service hours. There he meets Jamie, a quiet, good girl who him and his friend once made fun of. The soon fall in love but Jamie has a secret she can't get herself to tell Landon. When the truth becomes inevitable to hide, Jamie has no choice but to explain her situation. A Walk to Remember is a movie that will leave you heartbroken and in tears.
5. The Fault in Our Stars
Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters are not your typical teenagers. Both are cancer patients who are in the same support group. The two not only just fall in love with each other, but along with the feeling of being normal teenagers. The Fault in Our Stars will have you feeling a mix of different emotions including grateful and heartbroken.
6. The Longest Ride
Luke is a former bull rider, Sophia is a college student. When the two fall in love, factors in their relationship become a problem. Luke wants to return to bull riding while Sophia wants to continue her arts career in New York. The two become separated from their differences, but will that last? The Longest Ride is a story about passion, goals, and love.
7. Midnight Sun
Katie Price has a rare genetic condition, a life-threatening sensitivity to sunlight. While out at night, she meets Charlie, the boy she's been admiring from her window since she was a young girl. Katie struggles to admit her disease to Charlie. Midnight Sun is a story filled with struggle to be yourself, love, and friendship.
8. Safe Haven
Katie Felderman moves to a small town away from her home to escape her abusive husband. When Katie meets Alex, she learns to love again. Although, Katie's past is on a mission to find her and claim her again.
9. The Last Song
Ronnie Miller is a troubled teenager who is sent by her mother to stay with her father over the summer. She has no desire to be there and it shows through her actions. Until she meets Will, a privileged local teenager. The two fall in love which helps Ronnie cope with her dad becoming ill. But, Will has a secret that he hasn't told anyone, that would put their relationship in jeopardy.
10. To All The Boys I've Loved Before
A classic, cheesy, love story that we all can't help but fall in love. Lara Jean writes letters to all the boys she's ever loved but never told. When Lara Jeans letters get sent out to all the boys, she begins finding trouble and unexpectedly falling for the popular boy, Peter.
