Ever since the 1930’s, TV has been a prominent source of entertainment for millions of people. Streaming sites such as Hulu and Netflix are becoming increasingly popular by the hour. Everybody has different tastes and everybody watches different shows, but here are ten TV shows that deserve your time.
#1. Teen Wolf
In the town of Beacon Hills, everything was normal. Until Scott McCall turns into a werewolf. Scott and his friends (pack?) try to navigate the world of supernatural while still trying to navigate the maze of high school. The plot is interesting and always changing. The characters are dynamic and the actors that play them are good at what they do. This tv show is ideal for those who enjoy teen drama and a bit of romance mixed in. Also, Dylan O’Brien. That should be enough.
#2. Gilmore Girls
This older 2000’s show is a great coming-of-age story about a girl named Rory who raised by her mother alone. Rory goes through the process of high school, first boyfriends, bullies, and more in this 7-year-long show. This is a perfect show for younger girls and teens wondering how to navigate through life.
#3. The Vampire Diaries

He becomes her saving grace to pull her out of her funk. She think she’ll finally be happy. After all, what can go wrong about dating a vampire? This show is quite a cheesy one, but it’s full of drama and romance; perfect for those that enjoy shows such as One Tree Hill and 90210.
#4. Gossip Girl
Think of Gossip Girl as an overdramatic, over-the-top representation of high school life. Serena van der Woodsen has finally come back from boarding school. And with that comes a new face in the Upper East Side. Gossip Girl is the new face of the internet, spreading rumors, whether or not it’s the truth. Join Serena and her best friend, Blair Waldorf, in trying to discover who Gossip Girl is.
#5. Grey’s Anatomy
Although this show may not be realistic, it sure is entertaining. Going on it’s 14th season, Grey’s Anatomy is set in a hospital filled with drama, romance, affairs, and of course a few lives are saved as well. Meredith Grey is just an intern trying to make her mom proud. But so much more comes out of this journey as well.
